The short answer

What does a TL Pavers pool coping and tile project include?

TL Pavers replaces pool coping and waterline tile in Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade. We remove the old cap, set new coping such as travertine around the edge of the pool, including curved and kidney shaped pools, and install the tile at the waterline, usually as part of a deck or pool renovation. Free estimates.

Coping is the cap that runs around the edge of the pool. It is where people sit, push off and step out, so cracked or loose coping is one of the first things that makes a pool look tired. On a curved or kidney shaped pool every piece has to follow the line of the wall, and that is where careful cutting shows.

We set coping in travertine and other stone, and install the tile at the waterline. It fits naturally with our pool deck work, so the deck, the coping and the tile finish together instead of three contractors working around each other.

What is included

  • Removal of old coping and damaged tile
  • New coping set level and tight around straight and curved walls
  • Waterline tile installation
  • Coordination with deck work and pool resurfacing
  • Clean joints and final cleanup

The part you never see is the part that lasts: the base.

Every job starts with excavation and a compacted base, sloped for South Florida rain. That is what keeps pavers level for years.
