The short answer

What does a TL Pavers paver driveway project include?

TL Pavers installs and replaces paver driveways across Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties. We dig out the old surface, build a compacted base, set the pavers with edge restraint and fill the joints, so the driveway drains well and stays level. Estimates are free.

A driveway is the first thing people see when they pull up to your house, and in South Florida it takes a beating: heavy cars, afternoon storms, sandy soil and sun all year. Pavers handle that better than a single concrete slab because each piece can flex a little instead of cracking, and a damaged section can be lifted and reset instead of torn out.

We build driveways in classic interlocking concrete pavers and in larger slabs with artificial turf joints, a look that has become popular in newer neighborhoods from Coconut Creek to West Palm Beach. Whatever the style, the part you do not see matters most: the base under the pavers.

What is included

  • Removal of old concrete, asphalt or pavers
  • Excavation and compacted base built for vehicle weight
  • Slope planned so water runs off toward the street or drains
  • Edge restraint so the borders do not spread
  • Clean cuts around curves, walkways and the garage line
  • Joint sand or turf strips, depending on the design

The part you never see is the part that lasts: the base.

Every job starts with excavation and a compacted base, sloped for South Florida rain. That is what keeps pavers level for years.

Paver driveway questions

Straight answers before you book an estimate.

Most residential driveways take a few days once the material is on site, depending on size, removal of the old surface and weather. We give you the expected schedule with the estimate.
Sometimes, if the slab is solid and the height works with the garage and the street. In many cases removing it and building a proper base gives a better result. We check it during the estimate and explain the options.
Many South Florida cities and HOAs require a permit or an approval for driveway work, especially if it touches the sidewalk or the swale. Ask us during the estimate and we will tell you what your city usually requires.
Artificial turf strips do not need mowing or watering. They need an occasional rinse or blow to remove leaves and dirt, like the rest of the driveway.
